Description:
Created during a competitive design sprint, this project challenged our team to collaborate on a high-impact promotional billboard for Paxahau’s Movement Music Festival. While Movement draws electronic music fans globally, this campaign was strategically tailored for commuters across Metro Detroit and Southeastern Michigan. The objective was to communicate the raw energy and culture of techno music while maintaining strong brand recognition. The final concept delivers a fresh iteration of the festival's visual identity, translating its atmosphere into an eye-catching, large-scale outdoor graphic.
Process:
The process included multiple rounds of ideation, critique, and refinement, with regular presentations to Paxahau representatives. Collaborating as a team, we translated concepts into a final deliverable tailored for large-scale, outdoor advertising. We balanced creative interpretation with the technical necessity of working within established brand guidelines. This project strengthened my experience working with clients, responding to feedback, and meeting practical communication goals.
